DRI is proud of our continued sponsorship of the annual W.A.R Against Hunger in Pittsburgh. The UPMC Health Plan & Rainbow Kitchen Community Services W.A.R. (Walk and Ride) Against Hunger is a walk/bicycle ride fundraising event. The event raises money in support of the Rainbow Kitchen’s efforts to eliminate hunger in the community, while also raising participants’ awareness of the benefits of incorporating health and wellness practices into their daily routine. The event includes a Health & Wellness Expo offering free health screenings and information about healthy lifestyle choices and practices.
Early bird registration is available through May 11th. Participants are encouraged to raise pledge contributions in support of Rainbow Kitchen’s mission. Please join us!
