Is CloudSuite Industrial Different from SyteLine?

Yes, CloudSuite Industrial is different from SyteLine, although they share the same core technology. SyteLine, originally known as Symix, is an ERP designed for small and midsize manufacturers that was acquired by Infor in 2005. Today, “SyteLine” typically refers to the on-premise deployment of the ERP. Organizations can extend the core system with a variety of optional modules, which are labeled “O” in the tables below.

CloudSuite Industrial is built on the same SyteLine ERP foundation but is delivered as a multi-tenant cloud platform. Many of the optional features in SyteLine are included in CloudSuite, giving organizations access to a broader set of functionality that can be adopted as business needs evolve. It also offers exclusive features like embedded GenAI and advanced document management through Infor’s Industry Cloud platform.
